Tis the season to be jolly, shara la la la la la la! Christmas is close now but don't fret there is still time for some emergency festive shopping to stock up for 'Craftmas' or to include in your festive drinks list. So what should you be looking to include on your list to Santa Beers for Craftmas this year?

Christmas is a special time of year, one where we all get together and enjoy a festive drink or two. Typically festive beers are a bit spiced and heavy on the alcohol but which ones will stand out from the crowd? If you haven't quite finished all your Christmas drinks shopping, or your still looking for that last minute stocking filler then why not go and have a look in your bottle shops for some of the following.

BrewDog - Hoppy Christmas and Santa Paws - Hoppy Christmas is a Simcoe single hop beer that is a strong IPA full of tropical hop flavours. Santa Paws is a Scotch Ale with a big malty backbone which is a great way to spend Christmas in front of the fire to help you ward off the cold weather.

Rogue Drinks - Santa's Private Reserve - This red ale is full of malt, caramel and Christmas spices this is a little cockle warmer.

Delerium Tremens - Delerium Christmas - This dark quadruple Belgian beer has hints of candied orange, caramel and Christmas spices.

Ilkley Brewery - Mary Christmas - A Christmas cake in liquid form. It has hints of ginger, nutmeg, brown sugar and orange. A great accompaniment to your Christmas lunch.

Anchor Brewery - Winter Wheat Ale - Not a style of beer usually associated with winter but this uses five different types of wheat and has hints of chocolate and raisin. A great alternative to a stout.

Mikkeller - Santa's Little Helper - This is a strong ale that is best used as an after dinner treat. Chocolate brown with treacle flavours and Christmas spices and aged in Cognac barrels. This ageing really adds another level to this beer.

Enjoy the holidays and I hope everyone gets to spend some good time over this festive period with friends and/or family.
